Categories
The categories were broadly divided into two segments, Technology Innovation and Business Innovation. Innovation could be in the form of new ideas, new products, patents, inventions, services, processes, new financial techniques, or business structures. For e.g. Business Innovation could be in Business application of IT services / communication, environment, finance, management techniques and organisation, transport and logistics, product/service design and social / political innovation.
