Turnaround of Idemitsu benzene plant in Sept

An aromatics plant operated by Idemitsu Kosan, Japan, has scheduled a maintenance shutdown at the plant, which has a production capacity of 274,000 tons of benzene per year.

Fibre2fashion spoke to a senior official of Idemitsu Kosan, who added by saying that the turnaround will take place from end of September for a period of two weeks.

The aromatics plant is located in Tokuyama and according to the official; it is now currently operating at 90 percent production levels.
