In meetings with a joint union delegation from Holland and the US, Gamma Holdings remained entrenched in its bad faith position.
Mr. Kearney says that such behaviour is unacceptable. Hiring workers to break a strike and then refusing to re-employ workers on account of their having participated in the strike represents a serious violation of the international-recognised right of freedom of association in addition to representing a violation of Gamma Holding's own code of conduct.

The ITGLWF has urged Gamma Holding to reinstate the striking workers, to conclude a contract agreement and to establish sound industrial relations based on social dialogue.
