KP Chemicals, South Korea operates two PTA plants, No - 2 and No - 3 which are located at Ulsan, South Korea with production capacities of 350,000 mt/year and 600,000 mt/year, respectively.
The No - 3 plant had been taken off-stream last month for routine maintenance from September 5 to 18 and No - 2 plant had been taken off-stream this month for only 5 days from October 4 to 8.
Both the plants are now running at 85-90 percent production capacity rates. More added that short term market outlook of PTA in Asian region is bullish.
