Central Chairman All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA) Gohar Ejaz has felicitated Bashir Alimohammad, former Chairman APTMA, for his unanimous election as President International Textile Manufacturers Federation (ITMF).
The International Textile Manufacturers Federation (ITMF) is a Switzerland-based textile organization and Mr Alimohammad is first-ever Pakistani to be elevated to such an august office globally. Mr Alimohammad is a leading textile entrepreneur and he has earned great respect and honour while serving as Chairman APTMA and recently obtaining market access for textile industry in the EU.
He expressed the hope that the experience and wisdom being carried out by Mr Alimohammad would be helpful in building a positive image of Pakistan and its textile industry around the world.
He said Pakistan textile industry would greatly benefit from Mr Alimohammad presence in the international office like ITMF.
Gohar Ejaz assured newly-elected President ITMF full support and cooperation in performing his functions at such a highest forum of textile industry.
