Gamma Holding strengthens its financial position in Q3

Turnover at Bekaert Textiles increased by 16% to € 40 million (2009: € 34 million). EBITDA excluding restructuring expenses improved from € 5.6 million in the third quarter of 2009 to € 6.3 million in the third quarter of 2010. There were upward trends particularly in North and South America and Australia. In Argentina the business unit moved into a new factory, thereby tripling its production capacity.
In order to further develop new specialised products for mattress fabrics on the basis of earlier innovations and to embed them more effectively in the organisation, Bekaert Textiles also set up a New Business Development Team.
