In the past few days low turnover was reported. The domestic market was also influenced by the situation at the New York future market.
Due to the lack of fresh news and with unchanged fundamentals the movement of quotations was mixed. Fluctuations supposed to be based on technical reasons. A clear direction was not seen.
The daily tenor of the quotes was marked by high volatility. Not at least because of holidays and annual closing there were not much inquires by spinning mills. The interest for deliveries within the first half year 2011 was limited.
Business for Long and Extra Long Staple cotton was not reported.
In the Medium Staple range qualities were traded from Central Asia for 1st quarter und West Africa for 2nd quarter 2011.
