Spinning reels - main step in Cotton Fabric making
Cotton fibre-to-fashion workshop tour presented by a joint initiative of CSIRO (Commonwealth Scientific and Research Organization) Textile and Fibre Technology (CTFT) and the Cotton CCC CRC, the three-hour workshops will be conducted at nine cotton growing locations in New South Wales and Queensland.
During a series of 'Fibre-to-Fabric Quality Workshops' in early February 2006, cotton growers and manufacturers have an opportunity to discuss industry issues with their customers.

The focus will be on highlighting the major influence various industry sectors have on fibre quality.
The aim is to ensure more people in the industry are aware of the significance of fibre quality, its impact on individual price premiums and the reputation of the Australian crop on world markets. The workshops will provide information designed to combat fibre quality problems during production and harvesting.
