The seasonally-adjusted CPI edges down 0.2 percent from October to November Seasonally adjusted, the CPI was down 0.2 percent between October and November 2005.
Downward pressure came from transportation (-0.7 percent), clothing and footwear (-0.9 percent) and food (-0.2 percent). Indexes for household spending and equipment (+0.3 percent), housing (+0.1 percent), alcoholic beverages and tobacco products (+0.3 percent) and health and personal care (+0.2 percent) exerted upward pressure on the seasonally adjusted All-items CPI.
