Nigeria's ABU creates academic chair in polymer, textile engineering

Danladi’s appointment, according to the letter, is for “an initial period of three years in the first instance and may be extended for an additional period not exceeding two years subject to satisfactory performance," ABU said in a press release.

Polymer engineering covers aspects of the petrochemical industry, polymerisation, structure and characterisation of polymers, properties of polymers, compounding and processing of polymers and description of major polymers, structure property relations and applications. Textile Engineering is the science that deals with all the activities and methods which are involved in the process of textile manufacturing.
