Nine months revenue rises 4.7% at Konica Minolta

Konica Minolta, a Japan based technology solutions provider serving many industries, saw a rise of 4.7 per cent in its revenue to ¥762.3 billion in nine months (from April 1, 2015 to December 31, 2015 of fiscal 2016) as compared to ¥728.03 billion in the corresponding period of 2014, according to a press statement released by the company.

Profit for the nine months period fell by 11.3 per cent to ¥26.497 billion as compared to ¥29.868 billion in 2014 at Konica Minolta.

Total comprehensive income at the company for this period was ¥21.327 billion, a fall of 63.1 per cent as compared to ¥57.793 billion in 2014.

It reported total assets worth ¥985.46 billion and total equity worth ¥528.37 billion at the end of the nine months period.

In the forecast for full fiscal 2016, ending on March 31 of this year, the company expects revenue of ¥1,080 billion and operating profit of ¥73 billion.

The company has been working on various projects to drive innovation under its three-year, medium-term business plan – Transform 2016. The plan sets forth three goals: to realise sustainable profit growth, to transform into a customer-centric company and to establish a strong corporate structure. (MCJ)
