North India cotton yarn down amid slow demand, tariff concerns persist

In Delhi, cotton yarn prices declined across various counts and varieties. A trader told Fibre2Fashion, “Spinning mills and stockists are under pressure due to weak buying. Stockists and traders are selling cotton yarn at lower prices, but mills are avoiding reducing their mill rates. Liquidity constraints are also hurting buyers’ capacity. The market is struggling with a cash crunch due to huge stocks in the textile value chain.”
