Northern India Textile Mills’ Association (NITMA) has announced the election of its new office bearers during the association's 67th annual general meeting held on December 21, 2024.

Sidharth Khanna, director of Arisudana Industries Ltd, has been elected as the president of NITMA. The new team also includes Munish Avasthi, CMD of Sportking India, as the senior vice president, and Ujjwal Garg, director of Garg Acrylics Ltd, as the vice president.

In his inaugural address, Sidharth Khanna expressed gratitude to the outgoing leaders for their efforts and emphasised the collective vision of the association. "I am honoured to have been elected as the president of NITMA and look forward to working with my esteemed co-office bearers to serve our members and contribute to the growth and development of the textile industry," stated Khanna.

The association expressed appreciation for the contributions of the outgoing office bearers, Sanjay Garg and Mukesh Tyagi, who served the association with commendable dedication, and extended a warm welcome to the incoming leaders. NITMA looks forward to building on its legacy and achieving its objectives in the coming years under this new leadership, it said in a press release.
