Optimistic market fundamentals drive Asian ethylene prices

Ethylene prices went up in Asia in the last week due to optimistic market fundamentals in the region.

In Korean market, average prices improved by US$ 30/ton and quoted at US$ 1010/ton in the last week, a hike of 3.06 per cent from the previous week.

In Japan, average prices soared by US$ 30/ton and assessed at US$ 1005/ton in the last week, an increment 3.08 per cent over the previous week.

In NE Asia, average prices moved up by US$ 35/ton and quoted at US$ 1045/ton in the last week, a rise of 3.47 per cent compared to previous week.
