Polish industry's Aug sold production falls by 2% YoY, rises by 1% MoM

The Polish industry’s sold production in August this year fell by 2 per cent year on year (YoY), while it increased by 1 per cent month on month (MoM), according to Statistics Poland. A YoY increase of 10.9 per cent was recorded in the figure in August last year.

Between January and August this year, the figure was 1.9 per cent lower YoY. The figure recorded a rise of 12.9 per cent YoY during the same period last year.

The seasonally-adjusted sold production of industry in the country in August this year fell by 1.8 per cent YoY and increased by 0.6 per cent MoM.

Preliminary data show a YoY decrease in sold production (at constant prices) in 23 out of 34 industrial sectors in August this year. An increase was recorded in 11 sectors.

An MoM decrease in sold production (at constant prices) was observed in 13 sectors in August this year. An increase was recorded in 21 sectors.
