Polyester, PC & viscose yarn prices up in India, FDY down in Surat

In Ludhiana, prices for PC and polyester yarn increased by &#****;*-* per kg. Seasonal demand supported this price rise, as PC and polyester fabrics and garments are in demand during winter. A trader from Ludhiana told Fibre2Fashion, "Delayed seasonal demand has picked up for PC and polyester yarn. The textile value chain has begun manufacturing winter garments and other products. However, manufacturing activities for the festivals and winter season were delayed because everyone was cautious." Meanwhile, the price of recycled polyester fibre declined by &#****;* per kg due to a fall in crude oil prices and the cost of virgin polyester fibre and its upstream products.
