A trader from the Ludhiana market told Fibre2Fashion, “Domestic producers of polyester yarn, fibre, and its raw materials like PTA and MEG have increased prices exorbitantly, despite slow demand from the downstream industry. Indian prices of these products are quite higher than international prices.”
