Propylene prices increase in Asia last week

Propylene prices went up in Asia in the last week due to lift in buying interest in the region.

In Korea, average prices surged by US$ 5/ton and assessed at US$ 700/ton in the last week, showing an increase of 0.72 per cent over the previous week.

In Japan, average prices rose by US$ 5/ton and assessed at US$ 710/ton in the last week, showing an increase of 0.71 per cent over the previous week.

In SE Asia, average prices went up by US$ 10/ton and assessed at US$ 750/ton in the last week as compared to previous week, an increase of 1.35 per cent.

In India, average prices surged by US$ 10/ton and assessed at US$ 750/ton in the last week, showing an increase of 1.35 per cent over the previous week.

In China, average prices increased by US$ 10/ton and assessed at US$ 745/ton in the last week, registering an increase of 1.36 per cent from the previous week.
