Propylene prices move up in Asia last week

Propylene prices moved up in Asia last week due to gain in upstream energy prices in the region.

In Korea, average prices went up by US$ 15/ton and assessed at US$ 695/ton in the last week, an increase of 2.21 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of previous week.

In Japan, average prices increased by US$ 20/ton to US$ 695/ton in last week, as compared to previous week, an increase of 2.96 per cent.

In China, average prices increased by US$ 5/ton to US$ 730/ton in  last week, as compared to previous week, an increase of 0.69 per cent.
