Testing, inspection and certification major SGS has relocated its apparel testing lab in Mexico City to a larger premise in Industrial Park Naucalpan, Estado de Mexico, thereby expanding its capacities to cover more solutions for the textile supply chain.

The new facility will cover testing services on Mexican norms as well as ISO, AATCC and ASTM methods for parameters including colourfastness, shrinkage, physical testing and flammability.

The facility is spread across an area of 1200 sq metres, and offers solutions across product categories like textile or apparel, handbags, luggage, backpacks, accessories, home textiles and paper and cardboard.

SGS's new lab provides one of the broadest scopes for testing services in the country. (MCJ)
