About to be held in Coimbatore from May 20-23 2016, Texfair will have 231 stalls for the display of machinery, spares, accessories, testing equipments, electrical and electronic components, etc for the benefit of its exhibitors.
Approximately, one lakh visitors are expected to attend the event. The visitor profile will include managing directors, directors, executives and shop floor technicians. In addition, seminars on trending topics related to textiles will be organised for the benefit of the visitors.
Commenting on the advantages of visiting the fair, Senthilkumar, chairman of SIMA said, “Almost four million spindles are being added every year in the country. Textile mills on an average spend 2.5 to 3 per cent of their annual turnover on spares and accessories, and also plough back 4 to 6 per cent of their annual turnover on modernisation.”
Texfair 2016 will be an ideal platform for the exhibitors and visitors to zero in on their requirements, meet all the suppliers under one roof and prudently plan their investments, cut costs and improve the quality of the products they manufacture, according to Kumar. (MCJ)
