Spain's IPRIX rate falls by 2.5 points to 16% in Oct 2022: INE

Spain’s annual variation rate of the export price index (IPRIX) stands at 16.0 per cent, almost two and a half points below than that recorded in August 2022. The annual variation rate of the import price index (IPRIM) is 28.8 per cent, more than one point below the previous month, according to the National Statistics Institute (INE).

The annual change in the flash estimate of the consumer price index (CPI) stands at 7.3 per cent in October 2022, more than one and a half point below than that registered in September. The annual rate of the leading indicator of core inflation stands at 6.2 per cent.

Spanish gross domestic product (GDP) registered a 0.2 per cent variation in the third quarter of 2022 compared to the previous quarter in terms of volume. This is 1.3 points lower than that recorded in the second quarter of 2022.
