TDAP to host TEXPO 2016 in Karachi

The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), a government body facilitating global trade development, will host TEXPO 2016 to showcase the various textile products of Pakistan at Karachi Expo Centre from 7-10 April, according to Pakistani media reports.

TEXPO 2016 will especially focus on the value-added textile products like high-end garments, hosiery, readymade garments, knitwear, etc. As part of the expo, a fashion show will also be organised to display the strengths of Pakistani fashion and garments industry.

The exhibition will attract a large number of visitors from all over the world. B2B meetings will be arranged to attract foreign delegates to carry out business dealings during the exhibition.

Other than TEXPO, TDAP also organises EXPO Pakistan every year, which gets foreign visitors on a large scale.

The body participates in 60 to 80 trade exhibitions every year, and sends 20 to 40 trade delegations abroad every year. (MCJ)
