Turkiye's CPI soars 4.75% in September 2023

In a breakdown of the figures, the clothing and footwear category saw the smallest monthly bump, registering a *.** per cent increase in September. However, when analysed on an annual basis, this category witnessed a significant rise of **.** per cent.

Excluding unprocessed food, energy, alcoholic beverages, tobacco, and gold, the CPI saw an upsurge of *.** per cent from the previous month, an increase of **.** per cent since December of the preceding year, a jump of **.** per cent when compared with the same month of the last year, and a twelve-month moving average growth at **.** per cent for September ****, as per Turkstat.
