Turkiye’s domestic producer price index (D-PPI) in August rose by 2.41 per cent on a monthly basis and by 143.75 per cent over the figure in the same month last year. It increased by 105.39 per cent on the 12 months moving averages basis in August this year. The annual rates of change of D-PPI in August were 132.12 per cent and 56.1 per cent for textiles and apparel sectors respectively.The annual rate of change of D-PPI in August for leather and related products was 80.78 per cent.
D-PPI increased annually by 125.43 per cent for manufacturing, by 99.54 per cent for durable consumer goods, by 124.14 per cent for non-durable consumer goods, and by 303.48 per cent for energy. D-PPI increased monthly by 2.94 per cent for manufacturing, the Turkish Statistical Institute said in a note.
