Turkiye’s gross domestic product (GDP) with chain linked volume index increased by 4.8 per cent year on year (YoY) in the second quarter (Q2) this year.

Seasonally- and calendar-adjusted GDP with chain linked volume index increased by 1.6 per cent quarter on quarter (QoQ), while calendar-adjusted GDP with chain linked volume index increased by 4.6 per cent YoY in Q2 2025.

GDP increased by 43.7 per cent and reached $377.622 billion in Q2 2025 at current prices.

Final consumption expenditure of resident households increased by 5.1 per cent YoY, government final consumption expenditure decreased by 5.2 per cent YoY and gross fixed capital formation increased by 8.8 per cent YoY in Q2 2025 in the chained linked volume index, according to a release from the Turkish Statistical Institute.

Exports of goods and services increased by 1.7 per cent YoY in Q2 2025 in the chained linked volume index, while such imports increased by 8.8 per cent YoY.
