In output terms, the Q2 growth was driven by increases of 0.4 per cent in services and 1.2 per cent in construction, while the production sector fell by 0.3 per cent.
Real GDP per head is estimated to have grown by 0.2 per cent QoQ and 0.7 per cent YoY in the latest quarter.
Monthly UK GDP is estimated to have grown by 0.4 per cent in June this year, with growth in all three sectors.
Nominal GDP is estimated to have increased by 0.8 per cent QoQ and 5.3 per cent YoY in Q2 2025, an ONS release said.
