The Cambodian side was led by Sun Chanthol, Deputy Prime Minister and first Vice President of the Council for the Development of Cambodia, and Commerce Minister Cham Nimul, while the US side was headed by Sarah Ellerman, assistant US trade representative for Southeast Asia and the Pacific.
Both sides discussed ways to further strengthen bilateral trade and investment and the draft agreement, a Cambodian government press release said.
Both sides agreed to hold the second round of negotiations in the first week of June in the same city.
