US textile & apparel exports dip in early 2024: OTEXA data

Among the top ten markets, textile and apparel shipments from the US to Guatemala rose by **.** per cent to $**.*** million, and to China increased by **.** per cent to $***.*** million in January-February ****. Exports to Nicaragua and Mexico also grew by *.** per cent and *.** per cent, respectively.

In contrast, shipments to the Dominican Republic, Canada, Honduras, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and Japan declined by up to **.** per cent. During the period under review, the US supplied textiles and apparel worth $*,***.*** million to Mexico, followed by $***.*** million to Canada, and $***.*** million to Honduras.
