US' textiles & apparel imports rise 9.8% to $18 bn in Jan-Feb 2025

During January–February ****, apparel imports—which constitute the majority of US’ textile imports—increased by **.** per cent to $**.*** billion, up from $**.*** billion in the same period of ****. Non-apparel imports also rose, by *.** per cent, to $*.*** billion, according to the US Department of Commerce’s Major Shippers Report.

US apparel imports from Jordan surged by **.** per cent, while those from Bangladesh rose by **.** per cent.
