Vietnam’s consumer price index (CPI) in January rose by 0.31 per cent month on month (MoM) and by 3.37 per cent year on year (YoY), according to the country’s General Statistics Office.The core inflation during the month also surged by 0.21 per cent MoM and by 2.72 per cent YoY.
The CPI for garments and footwear was up by 0.22 per cent YoY during the month, according to a domestic media outlet.
