The Zünd S3 system on display at Texprocess illustrates the benefits of this modularity, which permits tailoring the cutting system to the requirements dictated by the job at hand, both in terms of tooling and material handling, for example, with a cradle feeder for tension- and wrinkle-free advances. A camera-based registration system, in combination with the Zünd Cut Centre software and user interface, takes care of matching cut to print, ensuring accurate registration even with stretch fabrics. Options for nesting and pattern matching are available as well. To visualise the integrated workflow concept and illustrate how easily the cutting system fits into the total value chain, Zünd is once again teaming up with other suppliers on the show floor to create a finished garment and a home furnishing product for attendees to take home as samples.
