Bombay Dyeing posts FY20 revenue of ₹1,895 cr

Bombay Dyeing, an Indian textile company, has announced its revenue declined to ₹1,894.6 crore in fiscal 2020 ended on March 31, 2020 compared to revenue of ₹4,429.7 crore is previous fiscal. Company reported a profit after tax of ₹327.8 crore (FY19: ₹1,228.2 crore). Revenue for fourth quarter (Q4) FY20 were ₹313.1 crore (Q4 FY19: ₹2786.3 crore).
 
Net profit attributable to the owners of the company for FY20 were ₹327.8 crore (FY19: ₹1,241.7 crore). Total comprehensive loss for the year stood at ₹85.2 crore compared to income of ₹1,338.2 crore in previous year.
 
Revenue of Polyester segment during the year were ₹1,114.5 crore (FY19: ₹1,439.2 crore). Retail/ Textile segment revenue fell to ₹231.11 crore (FY19: ₹263.0 crore). Real estate segment declined sharply to ₹548.9 crore (FY19: ₹2,727.4 crore). 
 
During Q4 Polyester segment revenues were ₹233.4 crore (Q4 FY19: ₹367.3 crore). Retail/ Textile revenues for the reported quarter slipped to ₹34.5 crore (Q4 FY19: ₹65.3 crore). Real estate revenues were ₹45.0 crore (Q4 FY19: ₹2,353.7 crore).
