Arvind Ltd, a leading Indian textile conglomerate, has reported a revenue of ₹77.38 billion (approximately $926.69 million) in fiscal 2024 (FY24), marking an 8 per cent decrease year-over-year (YoY). The company's earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) for FY24 reached a milestone of ₹8.45 billion, a 6 per cent growth YoY.

The profit after tax (PAT) stood at ₹3.34 billion. Notably, the textile division contributed significantly with revenue and EBITDA standing at ₹58.03 billion and ₹6.43 billion respectively.

In its advanced materials division (AMD), Arvind saw a remarkable year with revenue rising to ₹14.28 billion and EBITDA soaring to ₹2.22 billion, up 14 per cent and 35 per cent respectively. The EBITDA margin for the year improved by 240 basis points, reaching 15.6 per cent, the company said in a press release.

The fourth quarter (Q4) specifically showed strong performance with overall revenue up by 10 per cent YoY to ₹20.75 billion from ₹18.81 billion in Q4 FY23. EBITDA during the quarter reached a record ₹2.43 billion, a 27 per cent increase YoY, with the overall EBITDA margin improving by approximately 156 basis points to 11.7 per cent.

The textile division saw a revenue of ₹15.04 billion and an EBITDA of ₹1.73 billion in Q4 FY24, translating into an EBITDA margin of 11.5 per cent. This represents a 200-basis-point improvement YoY, attributed to lower input costs and enhanced operational efficiencies in the garments division.

AMD delivered its highest ever quarterly revenue of ₹3.87 billion, a 21 per cent increase compared to Q4 FY23. The division also reported its highest ever quarterly EBITDA of ₹610 million, up 31 per cent YoY. The EBITDA margin for AMD improved by 131 basis points to 15.8 per cent.
