The near six fold increase in net profit in the April-June 2016 quarter was partly helped by operating profit which soared 48.08 per cent over the prior fiscal's first quarter at Rs 23.50 crore.
Total expenditure at the denim and apparel fabric producer and exporter slipped 8.92 per cent year over year to Rs 130.73 crore in the quarter under review. (AR)
