Synthetic fibres & cotton spun yarn output down over last year

There was a minor 1.2 percent change in synthetic fibers (filaments) output during November (41,986 tons) over October (41,506 tons), while cotton spun yarn recorded negative growth, informs Japan's Ministry of Economy,Trade and Industry release, yesterday.

However, performance compared to last year same period shows a drop of 6.5 in case of synthetic fibers (filaments) output, this year, whereas in case of cotton spun yarn it was down 19.5 percent as compared to lastyear same period.

Leather and leather boots have also registered decline in November at 5579 tons and 1,991,000 pairs respectively, while the figures in October this year stood at 5,697 tons and 2,075,000 pairs respectively.
