About 40 transactions were reported at The State Raw Materials and Commodity Exchange of Turkmenistan, last week.

Foreign orders worth US $72.934 million and contracts in Turkmen national currency amounted to Manat 12 billion were notched up at the Exchange.

Liquefied gas of Turkmenbashi oil refinery and skins of small cattle was bought by Iranian businessmen.

Entrepreneurs from the British Virgin Island bought polypropylene from Turkmenbashi oil refinery and also purchased lint-cotton.

Turkish businessmen bought gasoline from Seyydi oil refinery and purified wastes of cotton-spinning too.

Russian businessmen purchased cotton waste and men's valenki and sewing threads.

Businessmen from Turkey, Russia and Gibraltar bought cotton yarn, Turkmenistan-made knitwear and ready made garments.

Overall, the exchange recorded a mixed bag of business from several parts of the world including from within the country.
