Chemical & natural fibre output average above 18% in Nov 2005

Averaging around 18 percent and above, China's chemical and staple fibre industry recorded excellent growth in November as well as during the year 2005.

Statistics reveal that chemical fibres output reached 1,429,700 tons in November 2005 showing 18.80 percent rise over the same period, in 2004.

Even as the cumulative January to November 2005 output crossed the figure of 14,552,700 tons registering a 12.80 percent rise compared to same period in 2004.

Meanwhile, Viscose fibres recorded a smart 24.90 percent rise in January to November 2005 period at 104,700 tons compared to 2004, same period output. Cumulative January to November 2005 output rose to 1,035,300 tons; a 12.20 percent increase.

Synthetic fibre output increased 17.90 percent in November 2005 at 1,314,200 tons, while it was 13,415,000 tons for January-November 2005 period indicating 12.20 percent increase over the same period during the previous year.
