Taiwan's man-made fibre sector production has been on a downhill over the past year.
Man-made fibre sector is struggling to make up its weak state of recent months.
Domestic apparel output declined by 23 percent in 2005 compared to 2004.
Production of polyester filament fabric also fell by 17.5 percent in 2005 sinking to 1.223 billion square meters.
