Retail trade sales at constant (2000) prices, for the three months up to January 2006, increased by 7.5 percent compared with the three months up to January 2005.

Similarly, retail trade sales at constant (2000) prices, for January 2006, increased by 5.6 percent compared with January 2005.

Retail trade sales at current prices, for the three months up to January 2006, increased by 11.8 percent compared with the three months up to January 2005.

Wholesale trade sales, at constant (2000) prices, for the three months up to January 2006 increased by 2.7 percent compared with the three months up to January 2005.

Furthermore seasonally adjusted wholesale trade sales, at constant (2000) prices, for the three months up to January 2006 increased by 0.6 percent compared with the three months up to October 2005.

Wholesale trade sales at constant (2000) prices, for the month of January 2006 increased by 6.4 percent compared with January 2005.
