Turkish Statistics Institute released the Industrial Production Index for February 2006. Industries production value reaches 4.8 percent in February 2006.
Report says that textile products industry decline in the month of February. Textiles output decline by 7.9 percent. Wearing apparel sector also down by 2 percent.
On the other hand, the industry group 'Tanning dressing of leather' shows a positive growth of 22 percent.
While manufacturing of chemical industry registered 19.3 percent increase in February 2006. Turkish machinery and equipment industry books 14.5 percent growth.

The Monthly Industrial Production Index with 1997 base year forming production information of 2005 the most important items according to the ISIC Rev. 3 increased by 5.0 percent in February 2006 over to the same month of the previous year.
