In the first seven months of 2006, Vietnam's textile and garment exports to Russia recorded sharp growth, with remarkable share in entire exports value to market of Vietnam.
Three major categories that registered highest earnings in the period include elastic shirt, jacket and overcoat.
Exports revenue of elastic shirt and jacket reached US $5.2 million and $3.36 million, respectively.
The figures of overcoat represented 319 percent rise from same period 2005, worth $2 million.
Russian marketa are all set to welcome the Autumn–Winter textile and garment season and Vietnamese enterprises are actively preparing.
