Cheap vegetables, pulses, milk and fruits had helped to lower inflation from previous week level of 4.96 to 4.68 percent this week ended July 8.
Inflation based on Wholesale Price Index (WPI) was 4.46 percent during the last week.
Textiles products group index was raised by 0.2 percent to 131.1 points due to increase in prices of acrylic yarn, texturised yarn and other cotton yarn.
WPI for all commodities increased by 0.1 percent to 203.6 points.
