Textile and garment industry in Vietnam registered impressive growth generating US $3.3 billion, a 32 percent rise for the first seven month compared to last year.
The robust growth has been possible due to rise of local clothing company's better ability and flexibility in production and business and Trade Ministry estimates that total revenue earned this year could reach $5.9 billion.
Trade Ministry has advised companies to promote their exports to non-quota markets as textile and garment quota of 13 items in US is nearing its end.
US and Turkey are the prominent countries, which have export quotas for Vietnam's clothes.
