To improve the productivity levels, country has implemented several policies such as Performance Based Reward System (PBRS), Performance Management Service (PMS) and Work Improvement Teams (WITS); but any of these policies was not successful to achieve targets, Member of Parliament for Bobirwa, Shaw Kgathi stated.

He advised that there was need to update policies to survive in global market. Many policies were designed but failed due to poor execution, lack of foresight and unskilled workforce, Shaw stated.

People of the country imports garment and sell them in local market but avoid paying taxes, which ultimately harm local industry, informed Kgathi.

He also criticised Finance Ministry, which failed to reduce income disparity and provide better infrastructure in rural areas.
