Textile and apparel goods export reaches new height

Ministry of Textiles (MOT) estimated that Vietnam's textile and apparel exports turnover in July 2006 made new record, generating US $600 million.
The figure represents increase of $30 million compared to that of previous month and $100 million more as compared with the corresponding month in 2005.
MOT forecast that textile and apparel exports turnover of Vietnam would touch highest value in August and might slow down in the later months 2006.
