Textile industry was badly affected after the heavy rain in Surat and surrounding areas.
To assist the industry, Union Textile Minister Shankersinh Vaghela ensured that central Government would soon announce package for textile units affected by flood.
Textile Ministry has submitted the package to the Prime Minister and urged him to visit Surat.
