Manufacturing industry on road to recovery in Piedmont

Manufacturing industry in Piedmont is on the path of recovery as it registered a growth of 2.1 percent in the second quarter of 2006.
Figures of 139th economic survey reveal that in spite of overall positive outlook, sectors like textile and clothing have registered sharp fall of 5.7 percent.
Businessmen have predicted a positive outlook for the future as well. 37 percent of the entrepreneurs surveyed said that production would continue to grow. Expectations are high on the national and international orders as well.
