Punjab Government and Congress Party were disappointed by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh who was there to lay foundation stone for Eastern Freight Corridor Project, as he did not announce any package for the Punjab.
Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has requested to PM for special package to repeat another Green Revolution.
On the other hand PM assured the farmers to solve the problem of easy loan and debt problems.
PM has stated that through freight corridor products such as textiles, sports goods, hosiery and machine tools will have easy access of foreign market.
