April 22, 2006 was a memorable day in the history of the developments of China's textile machine industry and Chinese exhibition operation. On that day, European textile machine manufacturing committee (CEMATEX) signed a long-term cooperative agreement with its Chinese partners---China international trade promotion committee textile branch (CCPIT TEX),China textile machine device industry association ( CTMA), and China international exhibition hub group (CIEC).
Both parties will officially merge Asian exhibition (ITMA ASIA) and China international textile machine fair (CITME) into one exposition in Shanghai starting from 2008.
Both parties agreed in principle to hold such united exposition once every two years in Shanghai. The second cooperation will be launched in 2010. This agreement means that the big players in textile machine exhibition industry will work together to create resplendence in 2008.
The united exposition will surely provide the global textile machine industry with a high quality market and huge stage for communication and consultation.
